Work with Us

Designing your garden can feel like a daunting task; we help you take the complexity out of the process.

We offer a reliable garden design and landscaping service for complete and partial redesign projects.

Our designers, landscapers, joiners, grounds-workers and horticulturalists, offer all the tools you need to create your dream landscape and on top of that, a single point of contact will coordinate with all relevant parties allowing you to enjoy the exciting, transformational process every step of the way.

We have two stages:

Stage 1: Concept Design

We talk through your ‘wish list’ to create a brief which we develop into a Concept Design based
on your desired budget. This is an outline rather than a detailed specification or list of costs.

Stage 2: Master Plan

This includes conducting a survey based on your confirmed Concept Design and putting together a detailed Master Plan that can be used to create your desired garden.

That’s all there is to it: simply beautiful.

Concept Design

After accepting our brief, our designer will conduct a site visit to carry out a basic assessment.

This includes checking the soil type, taking photographs of the area, rough measurements of the garden as well as noting the key aspects and existing features that you would like to retain.

After the assessment is complete we prepare the Concept Design. This will include a 2D plan view of your garden with key features prepared using computer aided design software. Each Concept Design includes one complimentary change. Once the Concept Design is finalised, we offer an additional optional 3D colour illustration to help you better visualise the design.

Before moving onto the Master Plan, we recommend having a full topographic survey to collect detailed information for the site. This can help to flag up any obstacles that may affect the implementation and can be adjusted in the Master Plan.

The benefits and costs of getting a survey done can be discussed during the initial consultation and we can offer to coordinate with a site Surveyor on your behalf.

Initial Consultation

Following an informal chat, our designer will visit you for an initial consultation (30min - 1 hour).  This is a detailed discussion to establish your ultimate wish list, take some rough measurements and do a basic assessment of the area to produce a brief. The brief helps to confirm your priorities and budget before moving to the Concept stage.  The first hour of the initial consultation is free of charge. Any additional time (if required), costs from £40 per hour.

Master Plan

Next the final agreed ‘Master’ plan is drawn to scale using computer aided design software. Unless you have already opted for a full topographical survey, a full survey will need to be carried out for accurate dimensions and gradients.

The Master Plan includes details for new features and adaptations hence will involve detailed drawings for hard landscaping components such as paving or decking, material specifications as well as instructions for construction and lighting installation.

Planting Plans

Our detailed planting plans offer you the opportunity to select plants that we have carefully picked according to your colour palette that best suit your garden’s position and soil type.

Plant sourcing

Our plant sourcing service, including delivery, positioning and planting (if required), is also available where required.
We pride ourselves in working with and recommending small, reputable businesses. As such, we like to support local, independent nurseries as much as possible.

Fees

You can expect to budget 8-10% of your overall costs for Garden Design.

Concept designs, Master plans range from £500 - £1200 each depending on the size of the garden and the scope of the project.
Concept designs include one change, additional changes start at £250.
Planting plans and our plant sourcing service start at £350 respectively depending on the size of your garden.

In addition, site visits, construction drawings, surveys, 3D product visuals and plant sourcing are priced individually for each project and presented as a written quotation.
